RJ's takes its name from the initials of the two brothers who started the business, Rob and Julian Burford.

Both born in banbury, the brothers saw the opportunity for a classic style barbers shop in a central location within Banbury and launched RJ's in White Lion Walk in September 2000.

RJ’s Barbers has activley supported local apprenticeship initiatives; both Reggie and Joey Boy having trained at RJ's throughout their apprenticeships.

Rob

Co-founder of RJ's, Rob knew he wanted to style hair whilst still at school, getting a work experience placement at a local salon.

Jools

The younger of the Burford brothers, Jools is a gadgetmonger, as anyone who has sat in his chair will know. He also surfs in his spare time.

Reggie

'The Future' has recently been broadening his cultural horizons, having taken his impressed girlfriend to Stratford-Upon-Avon for a bit of Shakespeare.
